Event Recap: Forum Next Level & Moderators' Meeting – Deep Connection & Elevated Learning in Munich
On March 28, 2025, EO Munich hosted its highly anticipated Forum Next Level event – a full day of immersive training, international connection, and personal transformation. Guided by world-class trainers Katty Douraghy and Cesar Quintero, the day was designed to deepen the EO Forum mindset and offer new, practical tools for Forum engagement.
From the very first minutes, the trainers established a powerful sense of belonging by creating an open, trust-based environment. Through interactive exercises and thoughtfully curated Forum Mashups, participants were grouped with EOers they don't usually forum with – sparking new perspectives and authentic connection.
Throughout the day, theory and practice were perfectly intertwined: participants learned new techniques and immediately applied them in compact Forum sessions. One key highlight was a fresh 5% sharing format, where each participant chose just one share from the areas of business, family, or personal – rather than a highlight and lowlight. Another impactful shift came during experience shares: rather than choosing a story that might help the presenter, participants shared something that resonated personally – even if unrelated. This created unexpected, meaningful connections and broadened the group’s perspective.
The training left attendees energized and full of ideas on how to integrate what they learned into their home Forums – ensuring the impact goes far beyond this one day.
Wolfgang Lauterbach, Munich Chair for learning & events and moderator himself put it this way: “What makes this experience truly special is the international spirit of the trainers and participants — and how amazing it is to bring the ‘latest and greatest’ Forum tools to life in such a practical way. The MashUp Forums allowed us to go deep and be truly vulnerable with each other, fast.”
A Perfect Ending: Connection & Celebration at Munich’s Starkbierfest 🍻
After a full day of growth, deep reflection, and Forum breakthroughs, it was time to shift gears and celebrate the EO way– with connection, culture, and great Bavarian beer!
Held at the iconic Paulaner am Nockherberg, the Starkbierfest offered the perfect setting to unwind and bond. With long wooden tables, live Oktoberfest music, hearty traditional food, and the famous Salvator Starkbier, EO members and life partners from around the world continued the day’s conversations – this time in lederhosen, laughter, and full-on community spirit.
The joy of building bridges beyond borders could be felt in every toast and dance. What started as a day of learning turned into a night of unforgettable memories, new friendships, and the celebration of what EO does best: combining depth with joy, and growth with true connection.
This was Forum, EO-style – in its most powerful and most human form. 🥨💬🌍
🌟 Special thanks to all the EO Munich Moderators who joined us the evening before at the Moderator Meeting in the Allianz Arena, one of the most iconic venues in Munich. These peer-to-peer sessions are an essential part of EO’s learning culture, and the engagement and commitment of our local moderators are truly outstanding. Munich is proud to have one of the strongest Moderator communities across EO globally – and we’re grateful for the passion and time they invest in making our Forums thrive.
The Forum Next Level experience concluded with the Starkbierfest at Paulaner am Nockherberg – a celebration of Bavarian tradition, community, and the EO spirit. After a day of deep learning, the relaxed and joyful atmosphere of the beer hall was the perfect way to wrap up an unforgettable journey.
Thank you to all who participated – and to Katty and Cesar for leading us through a day of meaningful growth. Let’s keep raising the bar together!
